Jenny Marnin has been named the head coach of softball for Cathedral Catholic High School, Director of Athletics Colette Cope announced today. Coach Marnin brings years of softball coaching experience and numerous titles from her impressive career as a competitive collegiate player and coach. Her extensive background in the sport promises to be a significant asset to our team.

High School: Jesuit High School - Portland, OR
- 4-year Varsity starter
- 2016 6A Oregon State Champion
- All-State all 4 years for softball
- 4 Sport Athlete in High School- Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming and Softball
College
- Southwestern Oregon Community College Team Captain 2018-2020
- 2nd team all-infield NJCAA
- Went back to Coach @ SWOCC after Covid
- Won NFCA Coaching Staff of the Year - 2021
- Portland State University Team Captain/Catcher 2021-2022
- Softball Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech University 2022-2024
Coach Marnin currently serves as a business administrator/recruiting coordinator for DropBombs Softball Training here in San Diego and as Head Coach for Team San Diego's 16u- National Team. "I live and breathe softball, but more importantly I want to add to the village that helps to form our athletes into well-rounded, amazing individuals. Being from a private Catholic high school myself, I know the pride and weight the name carries across your chest. It's an honor and a challenge, and I know we will train these student-athletes to live up to it."
