Cathedral Catholic High School's field hockey team is off to an extraordinary start this season, boasting an undefeated 8-0 record. Their defense has been impenetrable, shutting out six of their opponents and allowing only two goals all season. On offense, the Dons have netted 23 goals, showcasing their depth and versatility with nine different goal scorers.
Senior standout
Cameron Corzine has been the catalyst for Cathedral Catholic, leading the team with 6 goals, 2 assists, and 14 total points. Fellow senior
Julia Morris has been the team's top playmaker, providing 5 assists. In goal, sophomore
Emma Forster has been a wall, racking up 16 saves.
This balanced and effective team effort has earned Cathedral Catholic a national ranking of #15 (per MaxPreps) and a #2 spot in San Diego, trailing only The Bishop's School. With the season still young, the Dons are well-positioned for a deep run and continued success.
