The Cathedral Catholic field hockey team honored its seniors on Tuesday, October 22, in a spirited Senior Night game against league rival La Jolla. Despite a strong defensive effort and several key offensive attempts, the Dons fell 4–1.
La Jolla held a 1–0 lead at halftime before increasing their margin in the second half. Cathedral kept fighting, breaking through when
Gianna Johnson '26 scored off a well-placed assist from
Audrey Zolfaghari '26. In goal,
Emma Forster '27 anchored the Dons' defense with an impressive 19 saves, keeping Cathedral within striking distance for much of the match.
The game also served as a celebration of Cathedral Catholic's seniors, recognizing their leadership, commitment, and contributions to the program both on and off the field. Congrats to
