In a non-league showdown on April 8, Cathedral Catholic took down Eastlake behind strong pitching and timely hitting. Junior Owen Smyth started on the mound for the Dons, tossing 4 1/3 innings of one-run baseball before handing it off to senior Levi Uslander, who delivered 2 2/3 shutout innings in relief.

At the plate, junior Alex Harrington led the charge, going 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Junior Luke Crysler added a hit and a run, while senior Christopher LeTourneau and junior Hunter Harrington each smacked doubles to help fuel the offense. The Dons' all-around effort secured the win in a solid team performance.
