This past weekend, the Cathedral Catholic Sailing Team traveled to Oakland to compete in the Golden Bear Regatta, hosted by Encinal Yacht Club. With 64 high school teams in attendance, the Dons faced light winds, shifting currents, and a strong field of competitors.

Dons 1 secured a 12th-place finish in the Gold Fleet, posting several top-10 finishes throughout the event. Both teams gained valuable experience as they continue to prepare for upcoming regattas.

Up next, the Dons set sail for Gaucho Regatta in Santa Barbara in two weeks.
