The Cathedral Catholic varsity boys golf team delivered an unforgettable performance Tuesday at La Costa Resort & Spa Golf Course, setting what's likely a new school record with an astonishing 8-under-par 172!

Facing off against La Costa Canyon on a par-36 course, the Dons put on a masterclass of precision and consistency. Leading the way were Michael Riebe and Frank (Weiqiao) Zhang, each firing an impressive 3-under 33. Trevor Cox wasn't far behind, carding a 2-under 34, while Cole Newson, Oliver Mayson, and Yunze Wang all contributed solid rounds of 36 — an impressive score to drop in team play.
