Cathedral Catholic Girls Golf posted a perfect week in league play, securing three victories in four days with decisive wins over Coronado, OLP, and Point Loma. The Dons combined consistent ball striking, depth across the lineup, and steady scoring to bolster their status as one of San Diego's top programs.
The week started at Coronado Golf Course, where senior
Alexa Feliciano carded a 38 to pace the Dons to a 207–260 win. On Tuesday at Riverwalk Golf Club, senior
Mikala Kinnear led with a 39, helping Cathedral beat rival OLP 206–212. That match showcased great depth, with all six Dons finishing within four strokes—a clear sign of the team's balance across the lineup.
The highlight came Thursday against Point Loma, as Cathedral broke the 200 barrier for the fourth time this season, posting a team score of 199. Feliciano and Kinnear again set the tone with matching 38s, while
Charlotte Wang (41),
Joanna Tilker (40),
Reagan Joy Griffith (42), and
Sydney Carlin (43) provided the support needed to secure the milestone score.
Individually, Wang, Tilker, Kinnear, and Feliciano are all ranked among San Diego County's top 55 players, boosting Cathedral to a #1 Division II ranking and a #5 overall county ranking.
Fresh off their first-ever CIF title last season, the Dons are once again demonstrating they belong among San Diego's elite and remain focused on their ultimate goal: repeating as CIF champions.
