The Cathedral Catholic cross country teams ran in hot weather again Saturday, achieving impressive results at the Canyon Crest Ravens XC Invitational, sponsored by Fleet Feet. Facing some of the best teams in the county, the Dons showed their depth, determination, and cohesive pack running on the tough 3-mile course.

In the boys' senior/invite race, Nathan Wilber '26 led with a standout performance, finishing 3rd overall in 14:27.40. He was supported by a close group of Dons who stayed inside the top 100: Spencer Todd '26 (50th, 15:42.70), Aiden Angeles '27 (73rd, 16:02.20), Zachary Albers '27 (83rd, 16:07.90), Conner Ransom '27 (87th, 16:12.90), Makai Labayen '26 (89th, 16:13.90), Makana Gibbons '28 (92nd, 16:19.50), Wyatt Williams '26 (98th, 16:23.70), and Andrew Martinez '26 (100th, 16:25.00).

The girls' senior/invite race showcased another strong performance from Cathedral's young core. Grace Keefe '27 led the Dons with a 17th-place finish in 18:11.60, followed by Kristine Bickler '27 (34th, 18:31.10). Rounding out the scoring were Calliandra Schulteis '27 (55th, 19:14.20), Eva Smith '27 (71st, 19:28.70), and Ava Barrientos '26 (80th, 19:47.10), all pushing through the heat to finish under 20 minutes.
